Ladies Nights are back!

We held our first Ladies Night back in July 2010, thinking will it appeal to Fenland’s Ladies?  Well it certainly did and we’ve held ten so far with all sorts of themes ranging from Italian to Halloween.

We’ve two more planned for 2012: Wednesday 15th of August and Wednesday 21st of November.

Your £12.00 ticket will include a game of Ten Pin Bowling, delicious meal, glass of wine and LOTS of shopping :-)  

We need to confirm the stalls but I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy perusing these: jewellery, cosmetics, clothes, stuff for your home, cakes and handbags.

If you’d like to have a stall please reply at the bottom or contact us via Facebook (see below).  We don’t charge, we just ask you to donate something to the raffle and all the proceeds go to the Breast Care Cancer Charity.

Tickets must be pre-paid so get your friends then get your tickets and look forward to a fun Ladies Night out!

1. Lad’s Nights (Wednesdays, from 6.00pm onwards)

July 11th, September 12th and 14th November.

Lads Nights at Play2Day

Lads of ALL ages will enjoy UNLIMITED games of Lazer-Tag, UNLIMITED games of Ten Pin Bowling plus a Hog Roast  - all for just £13.00!

Entry is by pre-paid ticket so get your mates then get your tickets and look forward to a great night out!

2. Ladies Nights are back (Wednesdays at 7.00pm)

August 15th, November 21st.

Ladies, you’ll enjoy a game of Ten Pin Bowling, delicious meal, a glass of red, white or rose wine plus shopping, shopping and maybe some more shopping :-)

Stalls to be confirmed but I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to peruse over handbags, jewellery, cakes, clothes, cosmetics and stuff for your home.

So call your friends, get your £12.00 tickets and look forward to a fun night out!

3. Isle Of Ely Women’s Institute Bowling Lunch

September 27th (Thursday)

Isle of Ely Women’s Institute ladies from all over the Fens (around 34 clubs I think) have been meeting at Play2Day for a Bowling Lunch for nearly three years.

On September 27th they’ll enjoy two games of Ten Pin Bowling and a choice a lunch for just £11.00 each.

And maybe they’d like a game of Lazer-Tag too, yes they’ve played before and I’ve got the photos :-)

4. MacMillan Coffee Morning

October 28th (Friday, 10.00am-12.00 noon)

The MacMillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is another event we’re really looking forward to because so many people from the local community can get involved.

Last year local businesses kindly donated lots prizes, our staff completed a sponsored walk, our Mayor, Councillor Jonathan Farmer TD and Mayoress Mrs Farmer joined us along with lots of stall holders and of course coffee drinkers and cake eaters too!

Together we raised over £1,500 for MacMillan Cancer Support who provide care for a growing number of people suffering with cancer.

This year’s going to be just as good, so join in!

Amazing Birthday Party Cakes

Over the years I’ve seen some amazing cakes at Play2Day birthday parties. Some have been works of art, the culmination of hours of creativity and skill.  We’ve also seen some that could be best be described as underwhelming and a little less than amazing, ones you’ll not see photos of here!

NA £1.99 supermarket special this certainly isn’t. Must have been as good as it looks because after 2 games of Lazer-Tag and a game of Ten Pin Bowling Alfie and friends (with a little parental assistance) almost ate it all!

Before we go any further, if you type Play2Day in an internet maps search, add the word Wisbech to prevent you being directed to Play2Day Ipswich, which is a fantastic place to go but probably not what you’re looking for if you live in North Cambridgeshire.

Between Fenland Market Towns

We’re conveniently located in the village of Guyhirn on the A47 which lies between the Fenland market towns of Wisbech (capital of The Fens), March and Wisbech.  Head west on the A47 to Peterborough and east to King’s Lynn. Customers also regularly visit us from south Lincolnshire (north a little) and Chatteris which is further towards Cambridge.

Lazer-Tag High Score Winner_April 2012

Our Lazer-Tag Arena at Play2Day Wisbech Family Entertainment Centre is almost a year old now and we are continually adding more offers, games and whatever it takes to feed our customers demands!  For example, on Monday nights we have a Lazer-Tag League and on Fridays we have Frantic Friday.

Your high scores from both these events or any other times will count towards you achieving the Highest Score of the Month.  So when you’ve beaten your friends with good score, complete a High Score Form (available in the Lazer-Tag Arena from the Marshall) and check Play2Day Wisbech Facebook page and blog page to see if you’re a winner.

Providing we can read your writing (we know it isn’t easy to produce beautiful cursive script in the half dark arena!) we’ll send you a FREE Frantic Friday voucher where hopefully you’ll play lots more games to get an even higher score!
